Tell us about your experience at Mr Gay Britain where you came third?

The Mr Gay GB experience was great, and I made some long term friends with a couple of the contestants!

I won the online votes with 4.5k votes across social platforms from campaigning around Kent and attending as many Kent prides as I could, which also gave me the opportunity to meet some amazing people and make new friends and connections.

In total I raised more than 5k for charity and across all posts and public speaking at prides or my radio show, I’ve always encouraged for people to stay safe, be proud and be themselves and I hope through my journeys I’ve helped at least one person be themselves.

Since Mr Gay Britain you have started working on another project tell us about it?

I’ve always volunteered and help run my local pride in Swale and coordinate fund raisers for them so we can continue to create safe spaces and events for our local LGBTQ+ community.

The project I’m working on at the moment is a calendar girl style calendar, featuring guys from my local gym to help raise money and awareness for testicular cancer, with a portion of the profits being donated to Swale pride too.

The best thing about this calendar is its inclusiveness with different ages and body types, but also features a testicular cancer survivor. The calendar will also include tips to check yourself!

 What charity are you supporting?

The charity we are supporting for testicular cancer is the odd ball foundation and Swale Pride.

In the calendar it implied nude or underwear shoots?

The Calendar is a mixture of both!

You are having a launch party for it on the 2nd of October. Tell us all about it?

Yes, the launch party will be in the evening at a local pub on sheppey where all the models and their friends and family will be present. We will be selling physical calendars and signing them and will also have a photographer present to take photos for social content and the local press to help raise awareness and will also be talking about the calendar on our Swale Pride Radio show on BRFM 95.6 which is every other Tuesday, with the next show being 24th September.

How can people buy the calendar?

You can buy a physical calendar at our event or future pop up stalls in the coming months or by clicking on the link below and ordering a calendar online :)  https://payhip.com/b/tqecj
